The first item of the Kenfig Hill & District Male Voice Choir's constitution is; the promotion and performance of Choral Music. With this in mind, in September 2010, at the request of the Choir's Musical Director Philip Juliff and its accompanist Andrew Chinnock the Choir took the decision to extend the scope of choral singing by forming the youth choir "crescendo”.
"crescendo” caters for the ages 14 to 24 and have already performed in many concerts. By providing this opportunity to the youth and children of the area the Male Voice Choir feels it is able to put something back into the community. The musical team behind these choir give their time freely and there is no charge to the those who attend.
The Choir rehearse in the Choral Suite in the Green Acre Motel, North Cornelly on Thursday evenings and welcomes new members.
